Program requirements

Make sure you can meet the following program requirements in order to participate:

Requires an active Metrc user API key with Admin rights on at least one license.

Requires a LeafLink application API key. For help on how to generate your LeafLink application key, read more here.

Both your Metrc and LeafLink API keys must be active for 90 days continuously in order to qualify for the Network Directory Pilot Program discount.

Why do you need my LeafLink application API key and what do you use it for?
We will only report transactions on items confirmed received by the buyer on incoming transfers via Metrc. We are prioritizing pilot participants who are users of Leaf Link in order to automate the initial dataset of orders processed and mapped to items confirmed as accepted on incoming transfers from the buyer.

What if we don't use LeafLink to generate our invoices and track payments?
Even if you don't use LeafLink for invoices and payments, you might still qualify for the pilot. We're focusing on LeafLink API key holders to streamline data processing. However, if you utilize another CRM or an accounting tool like QuickBooks Online, simply indicate this during sign-up—for example, "Not a LeafLink user, use QuickBooks instead." We'll then assess your application individually.
